There is something so peaceful and calming about a newborn baby sleeping. Now, sometimes getting them to sleep is a struggle, but once they finally drift off into that blissful slumber, they will melt your heart every time.

I have recently found myself staring at my own little ones while they are sleeping. The days are sometimes pretty tough, but as soon as they fall asleep my feelings from the days frustrations are wiped away and my heart is filled with warm love. 

Rhett was just 7 days new at his session, which right in the prime time (5-12 days new). He was extra squishy and sleepy and other than waking up to eat and poo, he slept right on through all his poses. Isn't he just perfect!?
